Halloween is approaching. All games are to launch Halloween events, so there will be a lot of ways to celebrate the festival. Pokemon Go is no exception. What can we expect from Pokemon Go Halloween Event?
Today Pokemon Go posted a tweet saying "Who's excited to catch Pokémon while Trick-or-Treating? Use the AR camera and share these encounters with us using." We can see from the attached image that the game will add a log of Halloween themed background images to increase the festival atmosphere. Of course, if you want to get the background, you need to open the AR.
While it is cool, it is actually not that usefull. Some players suggest that there should be more ghost type Pokemon on Halloween, which means more spawning. Ghost Pokemon tend to have the most powerful attack and defense power among current generation of Pokemon. Here is a highly recommended ghost Pokemon.
Gengar
Gengar is currently the most powerful ghost Pokemon, with a max CP of 2078. There is some information on its attacks. Shadow Claw is a Basic attack which is fast and powerful. Its special attack Dark Pulse is powerful with three energy bars.
